Dances with Rams is a Fort-Collins based performance dance group. It is made up of talented local community members, students from Colorado State University and friends from other dance teams. The group specializes in complex square dance choreography and is best known for its spectacular aerial figures! Maintaining the traditions of Lloyd Shaw's famous Cheyenne Mountain Dancers, Dances with Rams is currently the only college-based group in the nation performing this energetic style of dance. In addition to square dances, the group also performs contras, circles, mixers, rounds (such as waltzes, two-steps, polkas, tangos, and cha-chas), and a few international folk dances.
